  2. Welcome back! President: Ericka Torres Vice President: Salma Hainey Secretary: Carissa Cuevas Historian: Valeria Landeros Treasurer: Idaly Lujan Ways and Means: Kate Girvin & Isaiah Iturralde

Heads up for homecoming • HOCO Week- September 10th-14th • Homecoming Parade- Wednesday September 12th • Homecoming Game- Thursday, September 13th • Homecoming Dance- Friday, September 15th • Decorating begins September 3rd – 7th • 5 points each day (25 points total) • Those who show up to help every day will get an additional 5 points for a total of 30 points • More information to follow

  4. applications • New members can begin applying for NHS on Monday, August 13th • Applications due August 26th • Spread the word to check outside Mrs. Henry’s if your friends are eligible • Must have a 90 GPA or above

  5. Member dues • $15-Returning Members • $30-New Members • Start collecting money August 16th • 10 points to members who bring in their money before August 31st • Returning members- If you would like to be a new shirt it is $15

  6. Community Service Opportunity: New Member Induction Ceremony Ushers • Guide family and friends into the theatre, pass out programs, and help with snacks/clean up • September 6, 2018 at 6:30-7:30(After Meeting) • Sign up to bring snacks such as waters, cookies, cupcakes, napkins, plates, cups, forks for 10 points (max. 1 item) • Ushers-10 points (max. 10 people) • Must wear NHS shirts • You can begin signing up with Mrs. Henry tomorrow-first come first serve

  7. Nhs picnic • September 8th • 10 points for showing up/participating • 5 points for bringing items (max. 2 items) • Sandwich bread • Ham • Turkey • Cheese • Mustard • Mayonnaise • Chips • Water (or other drinks)
