  6. 臺灣，本島位於東經120°至122°、北緯22°至25°間（UTC+8時區），面積35759km2。由於臺灣係由歐亞大陸板塊、菲律賓海板塊擠壓而隆起的島嶼。故全島山勢高峻、平原狹窄、地震頻仍、川短流急、溫泉火山皆多。 我的家鄉

  7. 氣候方面，高溫多雨、最冷月均溫在14℃以上，雨量2500mm以上。北部全年有雨，南部則集中夏季降雨，颱風亦常在夏季侵襲台灣。故造成臺灣自然景觀相當多變，有熱帶、亞熱帶、溫帶、寒帶等氣侯。 目前由中華民國政府實際管轄臺灣全島與附屬島嶼。2005年7月總人口約有2289萬，閩南人占多數，其他尚有客家人、原住民、外省人等。文字官訂為正體中文，語言主要有漢藏、南島兩種語系，日語與英語亦常用。產業方面則以高科技、熱帶農產品等賺取外匯，目前朝向奈米、光電發展。進口則以能源為主，目前亦極力推動觀光事業。
