  1. Manhattan, New York By: Jocelyn Dufresne

  2. Little girl visits Big World I was on the plane ride, flying over New York, ready for landing. My ears popped. I tightened my seatbelt. As we were gravitated to the ground, I searched for the Empire State Building. The Rockefeller Center. Lost in an airport. My parents search for an assistant to catch us a private shuttle. To escaped from the scorching heat, we jumped into an air conditioned taxi- van, and we drove toward island of Manhattan.

  3. No honking. “No honking” said the signs along the busy streets Time Square. I looked out the window to see the drivers honking their horns every 15 seconds. Once we got to the hotel, we settled in, and took the elevator 21 floors down to the lobby. We git a quick bite to eat, and were out in 20 minutes to explore what we could of Time Square before a new day. We realized that didn’t matter because the stores were open until 3 am!

  4. On the tour bus! (On the midnight ride, I fell asleep!) Too expensive We went on tour buses, explored the island, we shopped “until we dropped”, and walked with shock through Louis Vuitton and Barneys at impossible-to afford-unless-your-a-millioniare products! To do some reality shopping, we hit Macy’s, the BIGGEST department store in the WORLD! It had 9 floors and each floor was over 2 blocks wide! And don’t forget the massive-one-whole-floor food court! The food was DE-LICOUS!!!

  5. Museums to Galleries We visited every museum and gallery including the Museum of Natural History! Yes, that is the museum they filmed in the comedy movie “Night at the Museum”. Although it looked quite different from all the renovations they had done- and are still working on! “Is that the statue from “Night at the Museum?” It sure is the one who kept saying “Dum dum, I want my gum gum!”

  6. Rockefeller center and The Empire State Building The Rockefeller center has 66 floors in it, and we were on the very top- Imagine that- 66 stories high! We also went on the 88th floor of The Empire State Building, but didn’t get many pictures because it was so crowded. (Top) My Dad, Mom, Natalie, and me on the Rockefeller center. (Right) Me on the Rockefeller center posed beside The Empire State Building. Did you know??? A plane hit The Empire State Building on Saturday, July 28, 1945! The 64th floor was hit.

  7. Times Square There are no words to describe Time Square other then “Let’s go to Broadway!” and that it is a shopaholic's dream!!!
