  6. Autonomic Nervous System • Sympathetic • Parasympathetic

  7. Sympathetic Nervous System • Becomes active in response to emergency situations • “Fight or flight”

  8. Parasympathetic Nervous System • Controls ongoing maintenance processes of the body. • Keeps body running smoothly
