Reynaldo is sent to spy on Laertes in Paris. Hamlet met with Ophelia and left her. Polonius claims Hamlet’s behavior is caused by his love for Ophelia. Rosencrantz and Guildenstern are instructed to study Hamlet’s behavior. Act I. Prince Fortinbras is on the move.

Reynaldo is sent to spy on Laertes in Paris Hamlet met with Ophelia and left her Polonius claims Hamlet’s behavior is caused by his love for Ophelia Rosencrantz and Guildenstern are instructed to study Hamlet’s behavior Act I Prince Fortinbras is on the move Hamlet meets the Ghost of his father The ghost claims he was poisoned by King Claudius and asks Hamlet to avenge his death. Laertes tells Ophelia not to fall in love with Prince Hamlet Act II A ghost is spotted before Elsinore Castle in Denmark. Horatio and Marcellus are sworn not to tell about meeting the ghost King Hamlet of Denmark has just died. Queen Gertrude marries Claudius, new King

Hamlet is brought to King Claudius and tells him where Polonius’s body is Prince Fortinbras leads his army across Denmark to fight the Polish Horatio receives news about Prince Hamlet by sailors. Act III Ophelia becomes mad from her fathers death Ophelia meets her death by drowning King Claudius and Laertes plot Prince Hamlet’s death Hamlet is sent to England with Rosencrantz and Guildenstern Alone, King Claudius reveals the crime he has committed and feels he cannot escape The play “Murder of Gonzago” is performed that Hamlet added lines to Act IV Queen Gertrude agrees to stop living with Kind Claudius King Claudius and Polonius spy on Hamlet and Ophelia during a private conversation Hamlet scolds his mother in private and stabbed Polonius when he was caught listening Rosencrantz and Guildenstern report to King Claudius about Hamlet.

Act V Prince Fortinbras arrives as Horatio promises to tell the story, ending the play Hamlet arrives at the castle and fights Laertes Hamlet stabs King Claudius killing him Rosencrantz and Guildenstern were put to death in England Hamlet wounds and poisons Laertes While Hamlet’s dying he tells Horatio not to commit suicide Hamlet fights Laertes over Ophelia’s grave due to love Hamlet wins the first two rounds against Laertes Prince Hamlet and Horatio speak with a gravedigger Queen Gertrude drinks from a poisoned cup and dies
