Benefits to date (beginning August 2012) • Located over 270 significant residential energy diversions • Identified and repaired dozens of faulty line side connections • Identified hundreds of meters that were mapped to incorrect transformer • Billed over 1.5 million for energy theft and saved millions from time of resolution going forward.

  3. Voltage Drop Identification • Group meters/readings together by transformer • Identify unusual meter voltage drop • Field investigation on those locations having unusual drop in voltage • Inspect meter service conduit, meter socket, service entrance etc.

Method • Utilizing SSN UIQ • Schedule 5 to 15 minute interval on demand readings of meter voltage, current, power, and temperature • Utilizing Microsoft Access • Join readings together with meter information, location, and transformer type • Utilizing Microsoft Excel • Run pivot tables, graphs, etc. that will identify unusual drop in meter voltage
