  1. Dr. Longcrier’s Great Adventure Bobby Longcrier

  2. Quest • It was a cold cloudy day on September 4, 1972. Dr. Longcrier was headed through the Rocky Mountains.

  3. Journey • Dr. Longcrier is going on an adventure through the Rocky Mountains for 6 months. He plans on meeting the Great Whitetail Deer.

  4. Hero • All of a sudden the Great Whitetail Deer leaped out of the woods. Dr. Longcrier caught up with it and started asking it what was happening to all the other deer.

  5. Test • The Doctor wanted to see what was happening to all the Whitetail Deer himself. The Great Whitetail took him and showed him the deer hunters and all the deer hanging up waiting to be cut up.

  6. Guardian • The Great Whitetail Deer thought the deer were all disappearing because the Deer Hunters were shooting them. But Dr. Longcrier thinks they are dying from disease.

  7. The Final Test • Even though it wasn’t just the Hunter’s killing the deer, The Great Whitetail Deer wanted them out of the Rocky Mountains so the other deer would have more of a chance of living. They went to the Deer Hunting Camps and set them on fire, hoping the Deer Hunters would never return. The Deer Hunters have not returned to this day.
