Reflection on Movie: Fred Korematsu • At your tables, create 3-4 quick notes and place on poster • Answer 3-4 of these questions with your table group: • Initial thoughts? • What questions did the movie raise? • What trait would you give Fred? Why? • What constitutional rights in the Bill of Rights or DOI were violated? • Why did the government do this if it was so blatantly against the constitution? • Who has the power in this situation? How do you know? • How did society change?

Viva La Causa • Viva La Causa focuses on one of the seminal events in the march for human rights - the grape strike and boycott • This boycott led by César Chávez and Dolores Huerta in the 1960s. • Viva la Causa will show how thousands of people from across the nation joined in a struggle for justice for the most exploited people in our country - the workers who put food on our tables.
