5. iglidur A290-delicious The plain bearings comply with the specifications of the German Federal Institute for Risk Assessment (BfR). As such, they are suited for direct contact with foodstuff. 6. iglidur A350- high temperature blue food bearing This wear resistant plastic bearing is made with FDA compliant materials and is blue in colour. Food grade plastic parts are often required to be blue in colour to help with minimising product contamination in food production lines. This FDA material allows the use of a plastic bush in direct contact with food, where other bearings, such as nylon bushes, cannot be used.
