  1. What is 100,000 Homes campaign? • National movement • House vulnerable and chronically homeless individuals and families • 100,000 by July of 2014.

What is Vulnerability Index (VI)? • Began as research into causes of death among chronically homeless individuals • Tool for indentifying and prioritizing people who are homeless according to the fragility of their health and living situation • VI Tool can be used to develop individualized housing plans

Denver Metro Area Veterans Registry Month of November 2012 • Initial metro wide effort - Conduct surveys all month with homeless veterans • Done in places veterans will be likely to frequent • Use VI tool to focus on targeting housing /services • Conduct initiative with other vulnerable homeless populations in 2013-2014
