  3. TGA Results Showing Phase Change • Green curve- • pH= 11.15 • H2O= <2 wt% • Template= 4.5 wt% • Red Curve- • pH= 10.2 • H20= 7 wt% • Template= 5 wt% • Fluorine would create a net negative charge allowing more water to enter framework for charge balancing, thus altering the phase.

  4. Red= PXRD of as-made zeolite. • Black= PXRD of sample following TGA. • Amorphous phase occurred due to harsh TGA environment. • Blue= PXRD of sample following calcination. • Furnace not as accurate as needed, thus the environment might have been too harsh also. • Some Crystals survived calcination.
