Language Immersion at John Stanford International School • Spanish or Japanese half day alternating with English • Start in K, continue through 5th grade • Math & Science taught in immersion language • Language Arts & Social Studies taught in English John Stanford International School and Hamilton International Middle School

What’s Next? • Monitor standardized test results as immersion students move up the grades • Evaluate Reading and Writing skills in Spanish and Japanese (as well as Oral Proficiency) • Figure out how to support ongoing language development in Middle School John Stanford International School and Hamilton International Middle School
