  2. You were in Africa in the savanna and you heard a trumpet . Then you looked up and saw a herd of elephants. You tried to scare them away but they didn't go away until you threw a stick at them. Then they all ran away. Elephantsare easy to spot because they are huge and sometimes they are noisy. Surprise!

  3. African elephants have large ears. Asian elephants have small ears. different kinds of elephants

  4. The baby elephants love to play. The elephants cover themselves with mud. They suck water up in their trunk and get a cool shower. Amazing elephants

  5. amazing weight • A new born elephant weighs about 220 lbs. • At two elephants weighs 2,200 lbs.

  6. digested • Elephants can eat 330 lbs. of food. • Elephants can drink 26 gallons of water. • Baby elephants drink milk for three or four years.

  7. When the herd becomes too large they form smaller groups. A baby elephant stays with its mom for 10 years. cool!
