Objective & Methods • Objective: To evaluate a community-based, non-medicalizedHIV testing offer (CBOffer) in parallel with the standard medicalized HIV testing offer (SMOffer) among MSM in French voluntary counselling and testing (VCT) centres • The ANRS-DRAG study: • Cross-sectional study in French VCT centres (4 sites), from March 2010 to April 2011 • Two different testing offers: • Data collected through the pre-test self-administered questionnaire, and analyzed through mixed logistic regressions

Findings & implications • The CBOffer attracted MSM... • ... much less likely to have been tested during the 2 previous years • ... more exposed to at-risk situations • Such non-medicalized HIV rapid testing offer performed by community members is feasible and manage to reach MSM who report more sexual risk attitudes • Increasing the implementation of such testing offer  public health priority • Providing counselling centred on sexual risk reduction strategies
