Conclusion • Trans-regional efforts on the way to a global MSA will definitely help keep lines of coordination and cooperation open with respective countries. • Littoral countries’ efforts and active participation in regional initiatives are the key elements for success. • Each nation’s contribution to the overall picture has a unique and significant effect on the performance of coordinated operations where and when necessary. • Regional efforts to ensure maritime security would contribute at a great scale to the global endeavour.
