  2. Claim • The State police barracks in Hazelton reported numerous cases of frostbite on January 10th, 2004, particularly in Monroe County. http://www.mapwatch.com/county-map/pennsylvania.shtml 2005

  3. Data Declared • Temperature, Wind Speed, Wind Gust, PrecipitationAASC. The Pennsylvania State Climatologist. Inclement exposure. McClatchy - Tribune Business News.  Retrieved December 10, 2010, from ABI/INFORM Dateline. (Document ID: 1434442211).

  4. Results The high temperature for January 10th, 2004 was 3.9 F and the low was -9.9 F.Wind speed peaking at 11.5 mph and maximum gust at 20.7 mph.No snowfall was recorded for this 24 hour period .These temperatures are conducive to hypothermia if one spends extensive time in these frigid elements. What maybe considered by most  a "short time", spent in these conditions could result in frostbite.

  5. Claim validated Based on the preceding weather data for January 10th, 2004 in Monroe County PA it seems most fitting for the conditions that are conducive for frostbite and hypothermia. Clothing factors should be taken under consideration when coming to the ultimate conclusion.
