  2. Essential Question How do I use Microsoft 2010 to create a business identity?

  3. Logo The first step to creating my business identity was to find a logo to fit my business. A logo is a visual representation of a business. Logos are placed on business cards, brochures, and advertisements. My logo is an image I found from the internet. It is a sign for Gazpachos, fruit cup. I chose this sign because this is the usual sign form for business’ in Michoacán, Mexico which is where my business idea came from.

  4. Business Card After creating a logo, the next step was to create a business card. A business card is a card that bears the business information. I chose this layout because it was colorful and that is the theme I want to portray because my business is about fruits. I want my business to look welcoming and promising.

  5. Flyer A flyer is an advertisement intended for wide distribution. In my flyer, I advertised my business by summarizing what it is about and what the business does. I also included important contact information and the logo. I also had to contribute a non profit organization component. My non profit component is a nutrition program because it relates to my business.

  6. Brochure A brochure is used to introduce a company or an organization’s mission. In the brochure I was able to state what services the company providesin detail. The reason for the brochure is to spark interest in a client. I explained my services and facts relating to my business. In the brochure I also included more pictures of what the business is about and contact information along with the logo.

  7. Budget A budget is an estimate of income and expenditure for a set period of time. The budget includes donations, personal costs, and item costs. The budget helps you to identify how much money is being is spent and how much money is being gained. Along with the budget is the Brick and Mortar which is focused more on rent and employee salary.

  8. Checks To learn to write checks, I created my own checks for the company. This allowed me to understand each component of a check and how to fill it out. This checkbook is actually a template from the internet. I wrote each check for my expenses. It was tedious but now I understand checkbook management.
