NIH Fellowship Program Goal Mechanisms of Support F30 F31 F32 F33 To help ensure that a diverse pool of highly trained scientist is available in appropriate scientific disciplines to address the Nation’s biomedical, behavioral, and clinical research needs.
Who Can Apply? • Citizenship: By the time of award, the individual to be trained must be a citizen or a noncitizen national of the United States or have been lawfully admitted for permanent residence. Individuals on temporary or student visas are not eligible. • Degree Requirements: By the time of the award, must have received a Ph.D., M.D., D.O., D.C., D.D.S., D.V.M., O.D., D.P.M., Sc.D., Eng.D., Dr. P.H., DNSc., N.D.(Doctor of Naturopathy), Pharm.D., D.S.W., Psy.D., or equivalent doctoral degree from an accredited domestic or foreign institution.
