  5. Cost Benefit: Middle School • 2001-2002 Office Referrals=2277 • 2002-2003 Office Referrals=1322 • 42% Decrease in Office Referrals (955)

  6. Cost Benefit: Middle School • If one Office Referral takes 15 minutes for an ADMINISTRATOR to process, then 955 x 15 = 14,325 minutes 238.75 hours or 40 days

  7. Cost Benefit: Middle School • If a student misses 45 minutes of instructional time/Office Referral, then 955 x 45 minutes= 42,975 minutes 716.25 hours or 119 days

  8. Group Cost Benefit Office Referral Reduction Across 12 PBIS schools= 5,606 If one Office Referral=15 minutes of administrator time, then 5,606 x 15= 84,090 minutes 1401.15 hours or 233 days of ADMINISTRATOR TIME recovered and reinvested.

  9. Group Cost Benefit Office Referral Reduction Across 12 PBIS Schools =5,606 If students miss 45 minutes of instruction for each Office Referral, 5,606 X 45= 252,270 minutes 4204.50 hours or 700 days of instructional time recovered!!!!!
