  5. Inference Practice • What can you infer from this paragraph? • At the zoo, there are lots of different animals. It is fun to watch the otters frolic in their habitat. The monkeys entertain the crowd with their antics. Even though the tigers are usually sleeping, they’re still really exciting to see so close because of how big and strong they are.

Sheesh. • Inference: My neighbor is not very considerate since he didn’t take his time writing the poem.
