  2. What is Cloud Computing? • Cloud Computing is simply the managing and provision of data, information, and applications as a service which is usually provided through the internet. • Cloud computing is used very often. In fact, most people use it everyday without even realizing it!

The Advantages of Cloud Computing • Provides a convenient way of accessing computing services without having to use your hardware. • It eliminates the need to store information on your computer or mobile device • Eliminates the need to download software on your own computer • This provided you with more storage space on your computer • Using less space helps you to use less energy

  4. How Cloud Computing Works Most companies have to not only buy each worker computers, but also purchase multiple software for each worker is able to do everything necessary for their job. With cloud computing, this could all be changed. Here’s how it works: Load the Cloud computing software to one computer. This application allows workers to log into a web based service which is available for all employees to do their job.

The disadvantages of Cloud computing • Must have a constant internet connection • Cloud computing is not possible without internet • Does not work well if you do not have high speed internet • Will work on low speed internet but may be very slow. • Low speed internet is not recommending while cloud computing. • Your stored data may not be secure • Stored data can be lost

  9. The Growth of Cloud Computing Cloud computing is growing more and more each year. It will continue to grow as individuals continue making advancements and improvements in the system. Above is a chart showing where it started and where it is now (Present Day).

  10. What is holding it back? Above are major reasons why cloud computing is not as popular as it could be. These reasons are service management, Sociability, Costs, culture, connection high availability, and customization.
