2. The movie we have produced, ‘Inconceivable’, is a Mystery Thriller. It can be considered a mainstream film as the film genre and content attracts a wide mainstream audience. However, our movie would be a fairly mid sized budget - there are not that many special effects, because our movie is more character and narrative driven. In terms of marketing , we are aiming at a slightly higher profile advertising campaign. We would like traditional push advertising such as trailer, billboard advertising as well as large viral campaigns which would attract a wide age ranged audience. In terms of actors starring in our movie, we would like a mixture of well known stars and new emerging talents. This way our budget isn’t extremely high. Which also means a variety of audience too. Someone like Guy Pearce would be perfect to play the role of the protagonist in our movie.

3. Distribution companies and films similar to our film Our movie is a lot like the movie ‘Memento’. It has similar narrative of male character with short-term memory loss and out on the search for the truth behind a murder. This is why we believe the same production company will be a good choice to produce/fund our movie. Hence the distribution company we have considered is ‘Newmarket Capital Group’. Another distribution company we have considered is the ‘Bergman Lustig Productions’, the producers of ‘Brick’. The idea of an innocent girl being murdered in our movie came from ‘Brick’. Both distribution companies have background knowledge and experience in producing mystery thriller movies and would be excellent in producing our movie. We have also considered Optimum Releasing as the company is well known distributor.
