It stands above the entrance doorway into the new club, bar and gallery in Tokyo which opened in November 2005. Cast in aluminium for the auditorium oak doors. The Buildings’ front doors all have a larger handle design in bronze and also there are pushplates.   8. Ann Catrin Evans – designer+maker Bardic Crown The design conveys: • ‘Books’, to represent the Dwyfor Press • ‘Slate’ to represent the host area of the 2005 eisteddfod –Eryri. Made in polished silver and riven slate. There is no soldered parts to the crown, it is assembled by : slotting, bending, pinning and crimping together.
