  9. HRS Project Structure • There are approximately 500 UW staff members from across the campuses and UW Madison Divisions participating in the implementation of HRS • Huron Consulting is our partner in the HRS Project

  10. STATUS

  11. Project Management • Microsoft Project is used for the overall plan • All team members track their time in a tool that is uploaded to the master plan which is reconciled monthly • Every team with many, same-type discrete deliverables uses hill-climbers to report status • JIRA is used to track: issues, test faults, development, decisions and other deliverables • Campus readiness is measured through monthly scorecards and assessements

High Level Status • The HRS Project is slightly behind schedule but is on track for implementation in 2011 • System testing completed; Integration testing in progress; planning underway for Payroll Reconciliation, User Acceptance (UAT), and Performance testing • Data collection, cleansing, conversion progressing ahead of plan • Training curricula and course development underway

High Level Status continued • Data governance model defined; method for requesting data extracts (from EPM) for approved supplemental systems in place • Security roles being defined with target to use them during UAT • User procedures, job aides, and knowledge base development underway • Reports for Release 1 complete, development of reports for future releases progressing as planned • Most development complete; break-fix ongoing
