  2. Zoonoses : Infections are naturally transmitted between vertebrate animals and people • Anthropozoonoses : main resurvior of infection is non-human vertebrate animals • Zooanthroponoses : diseases that mainly affect people, which may be transmitted to animals[temporary resurvior]

  3. Affects • 1500 infectious disease in human • 60% of human infection are caused by pathogens shared with wild or domestic animals • 1,000,000,000 illness/year • 1,000,000 deaths/year
