  4. The March Revolution • The March Revolution occurred in Germany in March of 1848. The German citizens were revolting and holding disorganized assemblies in attempts to gain the rights to freedom of press and assembly, along with German national unity.

  5. Interesting Facts About the Congress of Vienna -Switzerland was deemed neutral. The slave trade was no longer allowed. The Rhine and the Danube rivers were now free for all to use. Russia got to keep the majority of Poland and all of Finland. Germany was now 38 states instead of the 360 the Holy Roman Empire had created. The Netherlands became a constitutional monarchy.
