  1. Light Emitting Polymers • Cambridge Device Technology • Poly p-phenylenevinylene • Energy Efficient • Light weight • Printed LEP

  2. Light Emitting Polymers Visson – Phillips Technology • Thinness - display can be either mounted on a wall or integrated into any flat or curved surface (thickness less than 0.2mm). • Flexibility - screen or billboard will fit any shape. • Foldability - portable devices will incorporate a readable, normal size screen that can be folded and unfolded. • Lightweight - allows easy handling and transportation, and requires no special construction for its mounting. • No size restriction - enables the production of huge full color information screens. • High viewing angle - can be seen from any angle and even from behind without loss of information. • Excellent resolution - delivers a high quality image.

  3. Light Emitting Polymers Philips' polymer transistors can be produces on sheets of flexible material, allowing them to bend without breaking. (Philips Research)
