Madison Motorsports • Who we are • Club devoted to promoting all things motorsport, a sport that is often not well understood. • What we do • Karting, coursework (grid, tech, flagging), GT3, watch car videos, install parts, fix cars, give knowledgeable advice, high performance driver’s ed, auto-x, party, and much more.

Planned Activities • GT3 Ladder • 2-player Arcade Mode, best 4 times advance, then the remaining people go again, and repeat. • Schedule • Feb 24 – Corvette C5R @ Mid-Field • Mar 16 – Integra Type R @ Trial Mountain • Mar 30 – Lancer or Impreza Prototypes @ Swiss Alps • Apr 13 – Class S Supra @ Mid-Field II • Apr 27 – Spoon S2000 @ Trial Mountain • Points: 10, 6, 5, 3, 1 • Prizes: GT4 Pre-order, $25, $10

Planned Activities • Madison Motorshow • April 17th 2004 (24th rain date) • Hillside Lot (C4) • 11am-3pm, Judging starts at 1pm • Categories: European, Domestic, Asian, Motorcycle, and Originality/Customization • Other attractions (pending): Break Dance Club, Live DJ, GT3 tent and car videos, Concessions, pocket bike and or Karting demo.

  6. Planned Activities • Madison Motorshow (cont.) • Items needed: • Folding tables and chairs • Pickup truck to transport items • Racing videos • Volunteers to work specific tasks at the show • GET THE WORD OUT!!

  9. Money/Fundraising • We have approximately $900 after we receive our check from NASA for the Auto-X we ran last semester. • Letter writing • Need volunteer to head this up. • NASA-X • Car Show • More concessions? (discuss)
