  5. Create a group Group code students will need to join the group

  6. Teachers Can Manage Their Own Groups (change passwords, remove students, access grades, see parent access code) student receives notifications via text student receives notifications via email

  7. Students are unable to direct message each other.  Teachers Can Co-Manage a Group or Simply Join a Group Students Can Only Send a Message to the Group or Teacher

  8. Optional: Parents Can Access the Group(Each Student Has Their Own Parent Access Code)

  9. Message the group or individual students using the Note Feature.

  10. Send Important Reminders as Alerts

  11. Use the Assignment Feature for digital submission of work

  12. Create Quick and Easy Polls

  13. Add files to posts

  14. Embed video to posts

  15. Embed Glogsters to posts

  16. Embed Prezis to posts

  17. Post links to web sites

  18. Access Edmodo on your phone or iPad Look under the settings tab and receive notifications through email or as text messages.

  19. Teachers Can Make SubGroups Within a Group

  20. Click create small group Name group Add members to group

  21. Organize Content Using Tags. (You Can Share Tags with Groups)

  22. Create a Class Calendar

  23. Use the Grades feature You can make comments on work, grade, and return directly to student.

  24. Use the Gradebook Option

  25. Use the Library to Share and Store Files (Online Storage Space for Students)

  26. Search the Library for Attachments Added to Posts
