Converting X-Board • X-Board cannot be converted using standard paper guillotines • However the value-added X-Board panels can mitre-cut, shape cut, V-notched, folded or curved, canvas or fabric-wrapped, photo-mounted and fastened together with Velcro, hot-melt adhesive or magnetic strips, generating an endless array of design possibilities. • X-Board should always be converted on a clean table/surface so as not to mark the printable paper surface • X-Board should be handled at all times with white gloves to ensure the integrity of the printing surface • For tips on cutting & converting X-Board please see the link below: X-Board Converting Tips • For videos of X-Board being converted please see the link below Converting Videos

Converting X-Board • X-Board panels can be Shape Cut: • Using CNC Routing Equipment fitted with an oscillating knife toll for precise cutting or, • Fine-tooth jigsaw • For cutting to smaller plain shape pieces the following can be used: • CNC Cutter fitted with an oscillating knife toll for precise cutting • Heavy duty craft knife • Cabinet Makers panel saw with a scribing blade (ensuring) • Vertical foam trimmer (E.g Neolt) • Laser cut • CNC routing/cutting equipment is available from machine manufacturers such as: • Zund, • Multicam • Aristo • Kongsberg

  4. Converting X-Board • X-Board panels can be V-Notched by : • CNC Router fitted with C-Axis and mini-saw blade mounted at 45 degrees or, • Mitre-cut with a table saw that has an adjustable blade at 45 degrees • Enabling the panels to be….
