Denmark national flag is red with a white cross. • The flag is popularly known as Dannebrog meaning the flag of the Danes or Danish cloth. • According to legend the Danish flag fell from heaven on the 15th June 1219. • The red stands for battle and bloodshed and the white stands for a holy cause in which the blood was shed.
