  4. Effects on Humans • To much noise can lead to stress, aggression, sleep disturbance, hearing loss, and different other psychological issues • Depending on how much time the person is exposed 100 – 120 decibels can start to cause hearing loss or pain • General use. Level of loudness

  5. Ocean Noise Pollution

  6. Effects on sea animals • Disturb the ones that use the sense of hearing as the most important organ of perception • Dolphins and whales commit massive suicides by coming ashore guided by false signals that resulted from noise pollution.

  7. How humans affect the ocean • Sonar blasts of military exercises • Booms from air guns used in oil and gas exploration, • Fleets of commercial ships in global seas.
