  2. Vision Taranaki The overarching goal of Vision Taranaki is to provide kindergarten services that are enduring, sustainable and continue to meet the needs of whānau and communities in Taranaki.

Vision Taranaki • What happens each day at kindergarten is what matters most to children and whānau. • It is each kindergarten within and across associations that is unique rather than the association itself. • The uniqueness of kindergarten in each community is what kindergarten is all about.

Kindergarten - Vision 2020 Taranaki 2035 – The Taranaki Regional Economic Development Strategy by Venture Taranaki to support projections on demographics, population projection, employment opportunities and cultural aspects of Taranaki. • Technology • whānau needs • Leader of Education and provider of choice • Teaching teams education leaders and experts, active in promoting excellence in teaching and learning. • Parents, families and whānau in Taranaki are proud and have ownership of kindergarten.

  8. Transition Group • Engaged Accountants to complete • financial review on both associations • provide a merged set of financial statements. • Completed identified tasks in the Treadwells project plan • Review of employment agreements • provided a report to both boards on our findings.

Board decisions Vision Taranaki working group established Board agreed in principle that ‘a new organisation be created to provide kindergarten services across the Taranaki region’ Transition Group formed Establishment of new entity Phase 3 Transition Board agreed to proceed with the establishment of a single kindergarten association within Taranaki; and take to Members to vote. The AGM • North Taranaki and South Taranaki each hold their own AGM with their membership. • Each membership will vote on the same special resolution • Our members are • parents or primary caregivers of children who attend or are on the waiting list for one of our kindergartens • Interested company/person who has applied to the Board to be a member
