Summary • Although CSS was developed for HTML, it can also be used for XML for presentation • CSS can be used to output non-structured XML, for example text documents where the order of the output complies with the order of the XML document • The stylesheet language XSL offers all possibilities to transform and present XML documents. XSL transformation plays an important role. • In XSL, HTML and CSS are still used for presentation in the browser.
