  1. Sleep Survery of Your Peers Due Wednesday, November 6

  2. Hypothesis: Create a hypothesis based on sleep, sleep patterns, and your peers • Your hypothesis should be original, not like the person sitting next to you. • You’ll find an article that reflects your hypothesis and summarize it in 1 paragraph. You’ll include the website of that article and type it above the summary paragraph. • Then you will question between 10-15 of your non AP Psychology friends- at RR or elsewhere, between the ages of 14-19 (High School age) • Your questions will consist of at least 5-8 questions regarding sleep patterns. You should have 1 question for male/female and 1 question for age. • Suggestions to include in your survey: work, usual bed time, other activities, exercise, alarm clock, wake time, etc.

  3. Implementing the Survey: You may select random students, probably best to choose and = number of males & females. Keep a journal or some kind of log to record your answers. Include that journal page (s) in your report. It’s ok if it isn’t professional looking. It’s your data record. After your surveys are complete, compile the data into 3 paragraphs. This does no include your article summary. Write the questions you asked and who your participants were (no names, only gender and age) in the first paragraph. Write the results of each question in your second paragraph. In your 3rd paragraph, tie it all together. Do these results verify your hypothesis? What did you learn from this study?
