  1. Welcome! Certificate Course on Renewable Energy Technology Design, Installation, Operation and Maintenance: Training of Trainers March 3 - 13, 2008 DAP, Pasig City

Course Objective: In general, the training program aims to make the participants conversant with the design, installation, operation and maintenance of four RE technologies, namely biogas technology, solar technology, wind technology and hydro-electric power technology. Certificate Course in RE Technology Design, Installation, Operation and Maintenance: Training of Trainers

  3. Specific Objectives: the training aims to produce participants who can: 1. Explain the basic concepts about the design, installation, operation and maintenance of RE biogas, solar, wind and hydro technologies; 2. Demonstrate the basic skills in the design, installation, operation and maintenance of RE biogas, solar, wind and hydro technologies, and 3. Develop a training program for beginners on biogas, solar, wind and hydro technologies.

Background • Component 5 of the Capability Building to Remove Barriers for Renewable Energy Development in the Philippines (CBRED Project (PHI/01/G33) • CBRED Project falls under Operational Program No. 6 of the Global Environment Facility (GEF) entitled “Promoting the Adoption of Renewable Energy (RE) by Removing Barriers and Reducing Implementation Costs” • Implemented by DOE with the assistance of UNDP
