Target audience- the target audience of our school magazine is girls aged (14 – 18), this group of people are the most interested in music magazines. Furthermore this is the age where people start to discover there own music tastes, branching out from main stream music.

  1. Target audience- the target audience of our school magazine is girls aged (14 – 18), this group of people are the most interested in music magazines. Furthermore this is the age where people start to discover there own music tastes, branching out from main stream music. • Company name- our company name is W.G.K this stands for Wrong.Generation.Kids; we went with this name as it is clear we are aiming towards teenagers with alternative music taste. • Objectives-our objectives is to appeal to teenagers that go against the normal, showing that its not all about main stream music and other types of music is still widely enjoyed. Furthermore we aimed to promote local bands such as ‘Room 94’ to support the local community. On top of this we included school related themes to promote school work along side music.

We chose this background because its different from normal plain backgrounds that are found on teen magazines By using celebrity names and by using a new bands name, we can attract more people who are interested in different and new bands We used our masthead in the top hand corner like most magazines as this is where readers eyes would go first Like most magazines we used the main article as the photo and the focus point

  3. Retro background attracts target audience as its quirky and can be referred back to old brick lane our. 2/3 of our audience prefer older and quirky music styles. As it is a school magazine to meet our audience need we included school related topics, such as ‘revision playlist’. We included and advertisement for the poster as the majority of people who filled in our questionnaire said their favourite part of a magazine are the posters. We advertised our social media links as it means the audience can connect to us on various levels as we have a younger audience group(year 10-13)
