  8. Application: Impediments Identified on Survey • Results from Report Manager not in demand • Information is not new • Employers/training providers need more specific information • Post example outcome reports on training website • Augment Capability in Report Manager • Skills gap analysis • Inclusive of unemployed • Align education requirements with skills demand

  9. Impediment:Difficulty to use Report Manager • Options • Develop streamlined parallel system address impediments • Limitation 1: In a sense takes you out of the system, Does nothing to promote learning curve • Limitation 2: maintain multiple software • Add wizards • Limitation 1: more integrated with system but still has limited value-added to promote learning curve for system • Limitation 2: assumes no flexibility is a good thing because role of wizard is the end product, process is secondary to end product

  10. Impediment:Difficulty to use Report Manager • Challenges • Maintain the integrity of a single software • Maintain the integrity of the learning curve • Proposal • Embed automation of step-by-step guide in RM software • consistency between narrative description and automation • Learning on screen with goal of truncating the learning curve

  11. Automated Step-by-Step Guide • Create Descriptors • Create Projections • Create Indexes

  12. Impediment:Methodological Issues • Database processing time • Proposal • Limit availability of directories • Limit availability of deleted data • Standardize matching of SOC to O*NET in Report Manager as best practice • Proposal • Establish best practice for non-residual occupations • How to handle residual occupations?
