  4. LOOK AND LIVE (Numbers 21:4-9) What our Lord wants us to learn: • Sin is a revolt against God • Sin carries a fatal bite (21:6) • Finding an antidote is essential

  5. LOOK AND LIVE (Numbers 21:4-9) • The uplifted snake is a picture of our uplifted Lord.

  6. LOOK AND LIVE (Numbers 21:4-9) • Both had to be lifted up (Numbers 21:8, John 3:14) • Both had to be looked at • A single look brings life to the dying

  7. LOOK AND LIVE (Numbers 21:4-9) Just as Moses lifted up the snake in the wilderness, so the Son of Man must be lifted up, that everyone who believes may have eternal life in him. (John 3:14-15)
