  4. John 13:18 3) God's Omniscience does not hinder or violate human volition.

  5. Principles of the Believer's Election:

  6. From Eternity Past His Omniscience views it simultaneously as both completed action in the moment, and as a future event. Time / Human History EternityFuture EternityPast God’s Omniscience regarding Election of the Believer and the Book Life Rev 13:8, “All who dwell on the earth will worship him, everyone whose name has not been written from the foundation of the world in the book of life of the Lamb who has been slain.”

  7. In Time His Omniscience views it simultaneously as completed in the moment, therefore, completed in the past and as a future event. Time / Human History EternityFuture EternityPast God’s Omniscience regarding Election of the Believer and the Book Life Rev 3:5, “He who overcomes will thus be clothed in white garments; and I will not erase his name from the book of life, and I will confess his name before My Father and before His angels.”

  8. From Eternity Future His Omniscience views it as completed at the moment, and as completed past action. Time / Human History EternityFuture EternityPast God’s Omniscience regarding Election of the Believer and the Book Life Rev 20:15, “And if anyone’s name was not found written in the book of life, he was thrown into the lake of fire.”

  9. Understanding election is grace orientation to the Plan of God for your life. Col 3:12-13

  10. Our human works have no relation to our historical impact but our election does.

  11. 2 Tim 1:9, “Who has saved us and called us with a holy calling, not according to our works, but according to His own purpose and grace which was granted us in Christ Jesus from all eternity.”

  12. Heaven itself cannot stop our historical impact because of the fulfillment of our election.

  13. Rom 8:33,“Who will bring a charge against God’s elect?”

  14. Election is the expression of the sovereign will of God in eternity past. It is His sovereign right over His creation.

  15. Election, along with foreknowledge, predestination, justification and glorification, are all part of the sovereignty of God. Therefore, they belong only to the believer.Rom 8:28-30

  16. Election is the expression of the sovereign will of God for your life. Predestination is the provision of the sovereign will of God for your life.

  17. Under the Doctrine of Divine Decrees, election cannot be divorced from predestination.

  18. Predestination provides equal privilege (union with Christ) and equal opportunity (GPS) to execute the Plan of God.

  19. The decree of God is His eternal, holy, wise, and sovereign purpose, comprehending simultaneously all things that ever were or will be in their causes, conditions, successions, and relations, as well as, determining their certitude.
