Similar to BPIs Energy Auditor Certification. 3 different levels Home energy survey – basic walkthrough, no diagnostic equipment used; utility bill Building Performance audit – diagnostic equipment used (as BPI); check insulation, HVAC ductwork; home as system approach Comprehensive HERS Rating – includes all of the above plus a computerized simulation using RESNET software to produce a rating score and a cost/benefot analysis for recommended improvements
