4. What is a Pugmill? A pugmill is a series of augers and paddles that allow for the mixing and solidification of drill cuttings in a manner that eliminates lime dust, wet loads and the use of lime delivered in standard roll off boxes. A pugmill is the most efficient way to mix drill cuttings. Using a pugmill allows for less lime wasted and less haul off. This is achieved by our well trained employees minimizing the amount of lime used while monitoring the cuttings. lowering the total cost of back yard operations. Daily costs will be reduced using our system and the backyard will be kept clean and well organized.

5. How it works? • The dryer shakers sit below the rigs primary shakers • the cuttings are transferred directly from the dryers into the pugmill separating the fluids and solids • the fluids fall into an agitated v-bottom tank under the dryers from there they are processed by the centrifuge. • The separated solids drop into the auger tank, then are mixed with lime and solidified.

6. air drilling • While air drilling the fluids are drilled with the use of the Mathena ‘shale separator’ or by using the Marybeth. • all cuttings are discharged directly into a half round. a hydraulic submersible pump directly pulls from the discharge pumping the cuttings and fluids directly onto the dryer shakers.
