  4. Are you GREEN? • Persistent, determined, firm, consistent, assertive. • Resistant to change that cannot be proven to work or is not necessarily needed. • Value intellect (intelligence) and capabilities (abilities) above everything else. • Depend on information, not emotions or feelings (mind over emotions). • Strive for perfection; want to be successful and “on top.” • Demonstrates a composed demeanour. • Concerned with the world’s challenges (ex. global warming).

  7. Are you ORANGE? • Active, motivated, excited, energetic. • Are impulsive; like to seize the moment and take advantage of opportunities. • Enjoy active living and doing – play sports, compete, enjoy challenges, etc. • Want to get the full experience out of all they do. • Make quick decisions. • Want to achieve results, win, and be successful. • Live in the present.

  8. Some “True Colours” Cautions... • No person is a true green, gold, blue, and/or orange – it is rare that anyone fits into only one group. • Most people will find that they have characteristics from more than one group (in some cases, from all four). • Each group has its “pluses” and “minuses” – no one colour is better than any other. • “True Colours” is about understanding yourself; it is not about labelling or stereotyping others.
