Modern Language Association • Contents • Include each source that you referenced in your paper • Pagination • Insert the page number in the header ½ inch below the top of the page as a continuation from the text • Title • Center the title, Works Cited, 1 inch below the top of the page • Spacing • Double space throughout the entire Works Cited page • Alignment and indentation • Align the first line of each citation with the left margin. Indent subsequent lines ½ inch • Ordering • Arrange in alphabetical order. If citation begins with an article (a, an, the), then use the next word.
