Occupational Therapy • One of the main goals of occupational therapy is to get our clients back to living their everyday lives • Some of our patients won’t have the same functions as they’re use to of their extremities from serious injuries and illnesses • These products will help us teach them to get back on their feet and living their everyday lives as independently as possible

  4. 3 in 1 commode • Cost: $45-$190 per device • Has three major functions to help with recovery or everyday living • Can be used as • A bedside walker to eliminate late night injuries from walking in the dark • Shower seat • Elevated toilet seat with arm support

  5. Hand Held Reacher

  6. Reacher • Cost: $10-$20 • Inexpensive and can help immensely • Used to grab things from high places or far away not accessible due to limited arm usage • Eliminates unbalanced reaching and stress on injuries and weaknesses • Can also help to get dressed

  8. Leg Lifter • Cost: $10-$20 • Another inexpensive device • Used to teach and use for lifting legs into bed for patients with limited leg usage

Conclusion • Life altering injuries and illnesses may be hard to recover from but, these products will give our facility an inexpensive way to teach our patients how to live their everyday lives as normal as possible, while at the same time providing them with the right products to succeed post rehab
