  3. Introduction Why do we choose this topic? Shopping Addiction has appeared recently. Many women have this addiction. The age group is about 30-40. In this project, we will tell you about the causes and consequences of shopaholic.

  4. Causes • feel disappointed, angry or scared. • To improve mood • Cannot make a decision easily

  5. Consequence • Suffer a large and increasing debt, but still go shopping compulsively. • To get a good feeling when making a purchase, but feel bad soon after. • They waste money to buy many items which they never use or wear.

  6. How do you know if you have ‘Shopping Addiction’? After shopping, you’ll have… • sense of shame • remorse and guilt accompanied by feelings of hopelessness and helplessness. • self destructive feelings

  7. If you are addicted to shopaholic, what should you do? • Talk to psychologist • Ask for family and friend’s support • Do more exercises

  8. Conclusion 1 People purchase because they want to have a good mood. However, they still feel depressed after a big shopping trip.

  9. Conclusion 2 • Shopaholic like to buy something for themselves to balance their own needs but they only increase their debt and they suffer, so they need a suitable treatment. For example, they can talk to psychologist or do more exercise to relax, but they need more care and support from their family and friends.

  10. Message • Anything will make people addictive. It depends on how you avoid yourself from addicting to them. • Remember, you are the owner of your life!!! • Don’t let any types of addiction take control of your life.

  11. Group members’ feelings • We learnsomething about shopping addiction. Such as, what are causes, consequences and the solutions of it. Also, we know what we should do if we have ‘Shopping Addiction’? • We know that we are the owner of our life. We can make our life different if we do our best to plan it in an appropriate way.
