Since launching in 2008 as a subsidiary of Abu Dhabi Media, Image nation has rapidly become one of the leading content creators in Abu Dhabi and the UAE. • Mission: • Produces filmed content across a wide range of platforms, with a particular focus on audience in the UAE and Gulf region. • Image nation focus in 4 goals: 1- Developing Emirati filmed entertainment. 2- growing the local film industry through training and internship programs. 3- supporting Abu Dhabi entities in creating content to meet strategic and marketing objectives. 4- co- producing an aggressive slate of international films through several strategic partnerships.

The company’s local division: develops film, TV and documentary projects. • “Sea Shadow”, the company first local film was released last year. • The horror film “Djinn” is slated for release later in 2013. • Working hours: 6 hours in Ramdan / regular days 8 hours. • Image nation is a private company. • Its clients and customers. • number of employees: 21 • The division has co-produced a number of feature films, including:

Where I worked? • Administration. - With SondesBaccar (office Manger), NouraAlzuabi (office coordinator ), and JasemAlfardan (HR and admin officer). • Production and Development. - With Jason Mirch (Development Manger), TalalAlAsmani( Development coordinator), ShahadAlshehhi (project coordinator), and GehadDarwish (Marketing Manger)

Tasks/Assignments • Met employees, asked about company, work & Movies. • Worked at administration: • Communicate with client. • Know whom the company work with. • Development: - Read many movie scripts. -Write coverage reports. • Participate in Editing a Emirati show. • Translate Djin credit. • Did a research for Emmy Academy reward.

  9. What Ilearned during my internship? • To be Patience. • To be social. • to be active. • The process of work. • Produce films and shows is not easy at all. • Work under stress. • Work with other people.

  10. My challenges and how I overcame them • I’m shy person • I don’t ask question. • I overcame by meeting clients and answers phone calls. • I start asking question after I couldn’tfindmy answer in google

  11. How the internship has affected my career objectives? • Image nation is not what I want. • Maybe I’ll work as a designer.
