  10. Solidarity in the fight against economic criminal We have recently experienced multiple frauds through different forwarders agencies that have done significant damage for haulers and forwarders in the whole Europe. Methods for those frauds are very sophisticated and after financial transactions are finished, criminalsquickly shut down the company and change country of origin. That same organizations have committed frauds from Spain and France, and are currently operating from Greece. Police is helpless, since by the time they commit the crime, they are well out of their scope. For that reason, solidarity of all haulers in Europe is necessary, so they could inform their colleagues and partners through the associations and web portals about suspicious activities.

  11. Solidarity in the fight against economic criminal For that reason, haulers from the region and the police officials should gather on a working meeting for bringing up the platform to prevent this type of organized criminal. Quick exchange of information through the associations and specialized web portals is also crucial, to enable swift reaction to potential fraud.

  12. Solidarity in the fight against economic criminal Haulers through the Europe, especially in the southeast Europe, should, together with the union, work on the register of drivers. This would prevent employment of criminals and traffic violators. Representatives of Croatian drivers union agree with this initiative since it would preserve dignity of the profession. Register would have two levels of access – one publicly available, and second available on request of officials and employees. Register would be on the jurisdiction of Ministry of traffic, and all relevant authorities would update it as they get new information.
