INTRODUCCIÓN • En el Ecuador, hasta ahora esta fue una actividad ejercida exclusivamente por las INSTITUCIONES POLICIALES • Visión primordialmente operativa por parte de las instituciones encargadas • Problemas con la información: • Escaso análisis previo, ubicación deficiente de eventos • No hay causa basal probable ni causas concurrentes • Cambio en la legislación de Tránsito • La decisión y la operación en manos diferentes • Nuevos actores relevantes  CIVILES Falta de profesionales y expertos en materia de ACCIDENTOLOGIA VIAL
