閱讀閱讀除了和我們上面所說的字彙有密切的關係之外，另外，現在的高中英文課本在課文之前都會有 warm-up的部分，同學不要忽略了這個部分，在閱讀文章之前先想想這課可能會有什麼內容，在看課文的時候，就較容易聯想；在看課本文章時，遇到長的句子，不要被複雜的結構嚇到了，只要先找出主詞、動詞、受詞、剩餘的多為修飾的關係代名詞或是形容詞。平常若要增進自己的英文閱讀能力時，可以多找一些自己有興趣的文章，例如：英文版的八卦新聞、漫畫書、童話故事書，可以邊享受閱讀的樂趣，也可以把英文學起來唷。

聽力/口語 聽力：聽力和字彙仍然有相當的關係，如果你認識的字彙越多，會唸的字越多，當你聽的時候，就不會因為單字聽不懂，而不了解意思。要增進聽力的方法也很多，例如：好聽的學英文歌曲、看英文電影、收聽英文教學廣播等，看起來雖然不難，但重要的是要持之以恆才能達到效果。口語：大部分的人覺得開口說英文是一件很困難的事情，但實際上，最困難的就是「有勇氣」開口說，只要跨越了這個心理障礙，經常練習，不怕犯錯，相信要說英文不是一件很困難的事。平常在收聽英文廣播的時候，可以模仿節目主持人所說的英文，若有能力自己說出英文，現在的網路發達，同學們更可以利用msn，或是skype線上和外國人聊天；若還是沒有勇氣的話，那麼你可以準備一台錄音機，自言自語，將自己說的英文錄音下來，然後聽聽看哪裡說的不好，然後需要改進缺點。
